Terry T. Baldwin was born in St. Joseph, Mo., Oct. 19, 1937 and passed away in Portland, Ore., April 13, 2021. Terry died peacefully at home surrounded by loving family and friends from complications of a stroke.
Terry attended Jefferson High School in Portland, Ore., and was an Army Veteran. He was proudly the first in his family to graduate from college earning Bachelor of Science Degree from Portland State University. Terry an auditor, retired in 1992 after 33 years of service with the USPS. Upon "retirement" he continued preparing taxes for family and friends in addition to several account firms. He was a Jazz enthusiast and attended numerous Jazz festivals with his wife Carol, friends, and family. He loved his cars, golfing, traveling, snow skiing and was a member of Schnee Vogeli Ski Club.
Terry was the beloved son of Leila (Wright) Formoso. Terry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol (Nehring); stepdaughter, Laura Brinkhoff (John Kennedy); grandchildren; sisters, Karen Olsen and Joan Formoso; nieces and nephews; and three great-grandchildren.
The memorial service at Willamette National Cemetery will be private.
