Harry E. McCoy, 50, Coshocton Route 5, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday at County Memorial Hospital, from an apparent heart attack. He was taken to the hospital early Monday morning when he suffered the attack just shortly after starting to deliver a load of pipe from the Clow Corp. plant.
He had been employed as a driver for Clow Corp. pipe delivery system since 1964.
Born Novembe 2 1922 in Jackson Township, Route 5, and the late Beulah Haines McCoy. On June 25, 1943, he was married to Dorothy Marian Israel, who survives. He belonged to the Pleasant Hill Church.
Besides his wife, and father, survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Ledonis (Sharon) Randles, Coshocton; and Mrs. James (Mitzi) Moran, Route 5; one son Larry Eugene McCoy, Conesville, Route 1; 3 grandchildren; and one sister Mrs. Robert (Mary) Norris, Warsaw Route 1; one sister Ruth, and one brother William are deceased.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Pleasant Hill Church. Burial will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
