Edna Mae (Crabtree) Allen, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on April 21, 2021, after an extended decline in her health.

Born October 16, 1934, in Minford, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Weston and Grace Deemer Crabtree. Edna married the love of her life, Clifford Wesley Allen, on December 16, 1950.

Edna was the mother to six children and devoted her life to taking care of her family. She had a passion for quilting and created astonishing pieces of work. Other hobbies included sewing and crocheting. She loved going to church and listening to old gospel hymns, was an avid NASCAR racing fan, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Edna was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Clifford; sons Nelson and Rex Allen, daughter Karen Niday; brothers Russ, Paul, Harold, and Lowell Crabtree; a sister Dorothy Jeffords.

Edna is survived by her sons Wade (Michelle) Allen of North Hampton, OH and Joseph Wesley (Freida) Valerio of Frenchburg, KY; daughter Phyllis Roxanne
(Edward) Lucia of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren Lisa Allen, Matthew Christopher Allen of San Diego, CA, David Anthony Valerio of Springfield, OH, Pamela Engles of Springfield, OH, James Robert Lucia of Chatsworth, GA, Nancy Lucia (Doug) Cope of Chatsworth, GA, Shawn Louden of OH, Jacob Lucas
(Katie) Valerio of Frenchburg, KY, Chuck, and Nicole Niday; great-grandchildren Meagan and Brooke Valerio, Shawn Vinhous and Jordan Diehl, Caden and Caitlyn Cope, and Isaiah Sloan; sisters Faye (George) McKenzie of Wellston, OH, Nancy (Paul) Lundy of Newark, OH.

A small private service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on April 25 at the Haven of Rest Memorial Park in Calhoun, GA.
