He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Frank Murchison; and his grandparents, Isaac and Idonia Howard and George and Winnie Murchison. He was survived by one son, David Howard (Latasha); two daughters, Tabatha McLean (Nathan) and Tiffany Howard; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy Howard Murchison; brother, Jerome Murchison (Doloris); and five sisters, Patricia Edmonds (Wilbur), Brenda Garrett, Lorraine Newby (Henry), Carolyn Bromell (Robert), and Debra Davis.
