PLAINVIEW - Maria Lopez, 83, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bartley Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonel Gonzalez officiating. Burial was in Plainview Cemetery.
Mrs. Lopez was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Pleasanton to Aldolfo and Maria Susanna Casias. She married Edwardo G. Lopez in 1942 in Pleasanton.
Survivors include three sons, Edwardo Lopez Jr. and Arturo Lopez, both of Austin, and Reynaldo Lopez of Lubbock; three daughters, Maggie Rendon of Crosbyton, Linda Lopez of Austin and Corrine Hinojosa of Plainview; two brothers, Juan Casias of Lubbock and Pedro Casias of Amarillo; a sister, Helen Orosco of Michigan; 24 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
