Kenneth Joseph Moody, Sr. (age 60) of Hot Springs, AR, passed away at a nursing and rehab facility in Little Rock, AR, on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 18, 1960 to the late Kenneth Beauchamp Moody and Mary Jean (Grizzard) Moody.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Joseph (Joey) Moody Jr. , his wife Lucy (Aly) and their 5 month old daughter, Marley. All of Dallas, TX., Sister, Lisa Moody-Sanders of Arlington, TX; Niece, Courtney Sanders Cline and her husband, Ray Cline, of Carrollton, TX; Nephew, Matt Sanders and his wife, Kelli Kader, of Dallas, TX. A step-sister, Suzanna (Johnson) Williams and her husband, Jim, of Springdale, AR. Maternal aunt, Elizabeth J. (Grizzard) Griffin of Alexandria, LA., first cousin, Skip Moody and his wife, Karen, of Houston, TX., along with a small number of other cousins throughout AR, TX, LA and CA.

Mr. Moody was a proud graduate of the Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA, and served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS John F. Kennedy.

In his later years, Mr. Moody had become physically disabled. Yet, he still managed to retain his quick wit and mischievous sense of humor.

He remained a lifelong fan of his Arkansas Razorbacks and The Dallas Cowboys – and continued to share these passions with his son, Joey.

A private graveside service is being held for the family at Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
Cremation arrangements are under the trusted direction of A Natural State Funeral Service
