Randall "Randy" S. Brown 56, of Main Street Esperance, NY passed away Tuesday, April 20th at the Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY after losing his battle with brain cancer.

Randy was born November 18, 1964 in Cobleskill, NY a son of Paul W. and Esther (West) Brown.

He attended Schoharie Central School and soon became aware of his mechanical talents and worked for Monroe Muffler in Albany for many years. He later wrenched at Don's Auto in Esperance along with tending to everyone's brakes in Esperance. His most recent position he was a machinist for Bob Gray working for American Sander.

Randy held memberships in the Esperance B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2507 and the Esperance Fire Department.

An avid NASCAR fan, Randy also raced in the lawnmower circuit in several divisions, the last being super modified. He will be missed as a master mechanic who could fix almost anything.

Survivors include his mother; Esther Brown of Esperance, his son Brandon Brown of Albany, his siblings; Cindy (Jim) Parks of Schoharie, Paul (Sue) Brown of Grapevine, TX, and Marcia (Kevin) Rhodes of Rutherfordton, NC along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Paul Brown in 2001.

Burial will follow in the Old Stone Fort Cemetery.
