Thomas was born in Upland, PA on January 18, 1947. He was the youngest child of William and Elizabeth (Needham) Bradley. After graduating from high school, Tom enlisted in the US Marine Corps, and proudly served his country in Vietnam. Throughout his service, Tom was hailed as a loyal and courageous hero, and was awarded several medals of honor, including a Purple Heart and the Navy Achievement Medal. After leaving the Marine Corps, Tom spent most of his life working in the transportation field for both Septa and the William Penn School District. In his free time, Tom enjoyed spending time with his wife and sons, traveling, attending live theater, cheering for Villanova, the Phillies, and the Sixers, and playing with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother William Bradley and his sister Dorothy Bridges.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Doris (nee LeDonne), his sons Jason (Lori) Bradley and Zachary (Lauren) Bradley, his 6 Grandchildren: Thomas, Luke, Victoria, Mia, Andrew, and Ellie, and his sisters Veronica (Jess) Bommarito and Elizabeth Collins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday morning, April 27th, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. The visitation and the Mass will both be held at St. Pius X Church 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment will follow at S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
