Imogene E. Axmacher "Ime" 95, formerly of Ottumwa, IA entered into eternal rest on April 11, 2021 in Memphis, TN. She was born on April 22,1925 in Tama, IA. She married Charles B. Axmacher Jr. on January 31, 1945. She graduated in 1943 from Ottumwa High School and went on to receive her LPN degree from Ottumwa Heights College. She was also a member of the Ottumwa Baptist temple. She was a 50+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rose Chapter #552 in Ottumwa. In her spare time she loved watching movies, crocheting, and bird watching. She also loved taking care of her dogs and cats while sitting on the porch. She was preceded in death by her parents; George and Pearl Quigley, her brother Dillan, her sister Helen, and her husband Charles. She is survived by 3 children: Charles B. (Beverly) Axmacher III (TX), Mercedes Ann (Ray) Riley (MO), and Molly Crowell (TN). 4 grand children: Charles B. (Michelle) Axmacher IV (TX), Christopher (Misty) Riley (MO), Mindy (John) Burns (TX), and Casey Crowell (TN). 5 great grandchildren: Charles V, Addison, Brandon, Tevin Jr., and soon to be born Levi.
