Jimmy Dale Barnett was born January 27, 1945 to William and Syble Barnett in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He departed this life April 20, 2021 at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Jimmy, a lifetime resident of Bristow, was well known throughout the community and a past member of the ELKS Lodge. He was a business owner, servicing the oil and gas industry for many years. Jimmy also worked many years as a pipeline inspector. He was an avid reader, worked many puzzles and got caught up in solitaire for hours. Jimmy always loved spending time with family; his grandkids as well as nieces and nephews always put a smile on his face and brought him great joy.
Jimmy is survived by seven children, Mitch Mills and wife Sabrina, Ron Barnett, Brendon Barnett and wife Debbie, Justin Barnett, Wyatt Barnett, Katie Barnett and Madison Barnett; two sisters, Evelyn Cheatwood and husband Don and Marilyn Hight; two brothers, Ralph Barnett and wife Trudi and David Barnett and wife Ellen; eight grandchildren, James, Jeremy, Austin, Carter, Caden, Timothy, Jessica and Melissa; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Conner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Charlene Fairchild; one brother, Darrell Barnett and one daughter, Michelle; and one son, Oscar.
Graveside services are 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow with Reverend Gene Jackson officiating.
