She was born on July 5, 1959, the daughter of the late Billy E. Hathaway Sr. and Marjorie (Rodrick) Hathaway. Jerri worked as a phlebotomist at Aultman hospital for 17 years. She enjoyed her work as well as her co-workers. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh that had the ability to light up any room. Her hobbies included camping, bingo, game nights with family and traveling to the ocean. She especially enjoyed spending precious time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; Jessie Cooper of 30 years. They were married December 11, 1992. Daughters; Shelley Hathaway, Bobbi (Nicole) Hathaway, sons; Steven Hathaway, Jonathan (Angela) Hathaway, sister; Bonnie (Dale) Andrews, brothers; Billy Hathaway Jr., Allen Bruce Hathaway, nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family members, special co-workers and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers; James Hathaway, Kenneth Hathaway and Marshall Hathaway.
A graveside service will take place Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Atwater Cemetery.
