Owen, 92, of White Lake, MI, died at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital.
He was a son of William and Harriet (Hines) Roettger. He married Freda Boise 72 years ago. She survives in White Lake.
Also surviving are a son, Keith O. (Irene); a daughter, Janet D. Squires; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Karen Corbett; six brothers and three sisters are deceased.
He retired from General Motors Research Laboratories after 30 years. He was a member of Celina First Church of God and Crittenton Hospital Auxiliary and a former member of University Presbyterian Church, Rochester Hills, Mich.
Graveside services were held with the Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating.
