May 9, 1958 ~ April 19, 2021

Scott L. Beyer, 62, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Monday morning, April 19, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Scott Beyer was born May 9, 1958, in Wadena, MN, the son of Gustav Eugene and Beatrice Laverne (Erickson) Beyer. In 1972 the family moved to a farm by Sebeka, MN where Scott attended and graduated from Sebeka High School. After graduation, he was a member of the MN Army National Guard. Scott was united in marriage to Jillene Seibert on December 29, 1979 in Sebeka, MN. They moved to Staples, MN where Scott attained a degree in machine tooling from Staples Technical College. In 1980, they moved to the Twin Cities and purchased a home in South St. Paul, MN and Scott worked as a machinist. In 1989, the family moved to Jamestown, ND where Scott worked for Lucas Aerospace for 32 ½ years. He just recently retired and was enjoying spending more time with his grandchildren. Scott was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Scott would collect comics, coins, baseball and football cards with his children. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and building things for his family. Scott was a handy-man who over-built most projects in order for them to last. A vast knowledge of repair and construction was lost with Scott. Scott was a great husband, father and grandfather. He was a quiet man with a very dry sense of humor that was always spot on! He will be greatly missed.

Scott is survived by his wife, Jillene Beyer, Jamestown; son, Daniel L. Beyer, and his children, Lestat and Caius, Grand Forks, ND; son, Jonathan A. Beyer, Jamestown; daughter, Leah E. (Justin) Studsrud and their children, Sutton and Boden, Pelican Rapids, MN; brothers, Richard (Barbara) Beyer, Raymond (Dorothy) Beyer, Rodney (Brenda) Beyer, and Darwin (Angelia) Beyer; many nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Clyde Seibert; and sisters and brothers-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his son, Spc Paul A. Beyer; parents; and mother-in-law, Merla Seibert.
