Annie's Obituary

Mrs. Annie L. Fields entered into eternal rest on Saturday April 17, 2021 after health complications. There will be a viewing on Saturday April 24th, 2021 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.

Interment will be made in Sandhill Cemetery, Estill, South Carolina.

Annie Lee Mitchell Fields was born in Garnett, South Carolina on September 19, 1927 to late Eugenia Miller Warren and late James Taylor. She was raised by her grandmother the late Fibbie Mitchell. She was educated in the public schools of the Hampton County South Carolina.

Annie was married to Brooker T Fields Sr. who preceded her in death.
Annie was united in fellowship at an early age at First Thankful Baptist Church for a period of time. In her latter years Annie relocated to Tampa Florida in 1958. Annie became a dedicated worker at Tampa General Hospital for 22 years until she retired at the age of 62. When her health allow she enjoy cooking, gardening, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by mother, Eugenia; father, James; husband, Brooker T Fields Sr.; son, Brooker T Fields Jr.; 7 sister and 5 brothers.

Mrs. Annie L. Fields leaves to cherish precious memories with her loving daughter, Nora Lee Sanders from Estill, SC; grandchildren, Cassandra Sanders, John La'Don Taylor, Darrell T. Peacock, Marvin A. Jones, Delirie Powell (Michael), Yvett Ellis, Lindann Fields, Skinethia Agee, Malynda Sykes, Bernietta Sherrod (Albert A. Jr.), Annanora Fields and Brooker T. Godfrey; a host of great grandchildren; sisters, Fibbie Holman, Estill, SC and Daisy Marie Williams, Pineland, SC; devoted nephew, Johnny Mack Warren; daughter- in-law, Cecelia P. Fields from Tampa, FL; brother- in-law, Johnny Holman of Estill, SC; sister-in-law, Annie Mae Warren of Luray, SC; devoted nephew, Johnny Mack Warren; a host of nieces, other nephews and cousins; dearest friends, Elouise Burnett, Pierce Smith, Sandra Miller, and Eric Spencer; a host of other relatives and friends.
