Deacon Howard Charles Lewis Sr., 71, passed away April 18,2021, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was the son of Clarence and Revella Lewis. He retired from Woodrow Wilson Middle School in 2011.
Deacon Howard Lewis was a faithful member of Bethlehem Temple Church for 64 years. He became a deacon at the age of 21. Deacon Lewis serviced his office faithfully for 51 years.
Survivors include his wife of 45½ years Ruth; son Howard Jr. (Rachelle); daughters Erica and Ruth; grandchildren Hillary and Howard III; brothers Floyd (Zelda), Maynard (Terresita), John (Mitzi), Edward; brother-in-law Quentin Isabell; sisters Mary and Faith Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Milton and sister Rachel.
