The funeral for former Reading resident Lisa Anne Pearson, 34, of Kansas City, Mo., will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Messiah Lutheran Church. The Rev. Nobert Tegtmeier of the church will conduct the service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, east of Emporia. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Carlson Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions to the Lisa A. Pearson Scholarship Fund or the church may be sent to the funeral home.
Miss Pearson died Jan. 28, 1999, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
She was an office assistant at the Olathe Driver's License Bureau. She moved from Reading to Kansas City in 1987.
Lisa Anne Pearson, the daughter of James Robert and Carolyn Ann Grother Pearson, was born Dec. 5, 1964, at Emporia. She graduated from Northern Heights High School in 1983, from Emporia State University in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in business; and from Webster University in Kansas City, Mo., with a master's degrees in business and legal study.
Miss Pearson was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Grandview, Mo.
She is survived by her parents of Reading and two brothers, Mike Pearson of Americus and John Pearson of Reading. Her grandmother, Marie Grother, died earlier.
