Last rites for Mrs. Addie Oliver were held at 10:30 Friday morning from the Scotland Baptist Church with Rev. J. M. Metts officiating.
Mrs. Oliver died February 12 at the North Miss. Retirement Home in Grenada after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Oliver was born November 23, 1883 in Montgomery County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winona.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. L. Stafford, Winona, Mrs. W. L. Marshall, Bremerton, Washington, Mrs. W. T. Blaylock of Memphis, Tennessee; four sons, Guy Oliver and Randolph Oliver both of Winona, Wade Oliver of New Orleans, Louisiana, Lt. Col. Tillman C. Oliver who is with the U. S. Army in Korea; one sister, Mrs. Bonnie Fox of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, H. C. Evans, Yazoo City; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were H. B. Sandidge, John Stafford, C. E. Austin, J. H. Simpson, Barksdale Garner and H. H. Batchelor.
Interment was in the Scotland Cemetery under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home.
