Marcia Lynn McCoy age 74 of Ionia, MI passed away April 19, 2021. She was born on November 5, 1946 in Ionia, the daughter of Fred and Jesse (Moore) Martin. Marcia married Dan McCoy on October 28, 1966, he preceded her in death in 1994. Marcia attended Shiloh Community Church and volunteered for PTG at Jefferson School. She enjoyed attending plays at DeVos Center and had many hobbies including knitting, basket weaving and making blankets. She also enjoyed shopping on QVC.
Surviving Marcia are her special friend, Jim Jones of Ionia; sons, Daniel (Michelle) McCoy of Ionia and Marc (Tami) McCoy of Ionia; grandchildren, Ashlyn (Trevor) Braford, Kylie McCoy, Daniel McCoy, Matthew McCoy and Lucas McCoy; great grandchild, Christian Braford; brothers and sister-in-law's, Carl and Virginia McCoy and Donna McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dan, sister Deann (Don) Helmer and brother-in-law Jim McCoy.
Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Community Church on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dale Olling officiating. Visitation will be at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Thursday from 1:00-3:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM. Interment Easton Cemetery.
