Lawrence Edward Hicks II of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 5, 1952, in Iaeger, WV to the late Lawrence and Lois Riffe Hicks. He loved to read his paperback books and take his dog Tucker for walks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Hicks; and sister, Dinah Kay Belcher.
Lawrence, or "Buddy" as his family calls him, is survived by his children, Michael Edward Hicks (Lena) and Jennifer Lynne Hicks; sisters, Phyllis Ballangee (Jerry) and Brenda Ackers (Troy); brother, Chris Hicks (Suzan); and brother-in-law, Dennis Belcher.
