He was born to the late Dorothy (McMaster) and William A. Hill.
George was a proud United States Army veteran during the Vietnam War Era.
Until retiring in 2001, George was employed with Kurtz Hastings for many years and was a member of Teamsters Local 115.
He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, never missing a game!
George was a kind and dear husband to his wife, Janet, as well as an amazing father to his four daughters, Dawn and her husband, Dan Thornton, Jessica Hill (the late Harry Ellis), Tara Hill, and Tammy and her husband, Todd Rohn.
He will always be remembered by his grandchildren, Jordan Hill, Shannen Thornton, Chase Ellis, Luca Rohn and Ginger McGarrigle, as the "Best Pops Ever."
George also leaves behind his 3 sisters, Lorraine Moran and her husband, John; Dorothy Ott (the late George Ott); and his twin sister, Patricia Wurst and her husband, William; as well as his sister-in-law, Kathleen Hill; and many loving nieces and nephews.
George will also be sadly missed by his furry food companion, Scout.
He was predeceased by his brother, William A. Hill.
