Mrs. Margaret Hizer died Monday night at 11 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albright, on South Walnut Street. She has been in feeble health for two years and has been quite sick with stomach trouble since last Tuesday night. The funeral occurred from the home of Mrs. Albright at 1:30 o'clock p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Hizer was born in Germany on March 14, 1824, and came to America when 21 years of age. She was a member of the Presbyterian Reformed Church at Lafayette. Her husband preceded her many years, and she leaves but one child, Mrs. Teresa Albright, at whose home she has resided. She lived a Christian life and passed away peacefully and gently with a look of resignation and peace.
