Mrs. Jimmie Lee Fendley Anderson -- A native of Gordo, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, June 20, 2005 in a local hospital. Mrs. Anderson taught Physical Education for 34 years. She was an honorary member of the UMS Wright Athletic Hall of Fame. She is survived by her husband, Charles D. "Lefty" Anderson, Mobile, AL; one son, Chuck Anderson, Summerdale, AL; one sister, Frances Allison, Thomasville, AL; niece, Lorraine Thompson, Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Laura Lee Anderson and Sam Anderson, both of Summerdale, AL; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.
