Jean graduated from North Cache High School. On April 13, 1949, she married Leonard in Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Leonard and Jean lived in Preston until 1954, when they moved to Blackfoot. They also lived in Riverton and Firth before building their home in Rockford in 1964. In her younger years, Jean helped on the family dairy. For 24 years she worked for the Snake River School District in the Rockford, Pingree and Riverside school lunch programs. On March 14, 2009, she married Mervin in Thomas, ID. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved cooking and made many great meals and also liked to crochet. Her final home was at Gem Village assisted living. Survivors included: children Leonard Bruce (Gayleen) Lloyd of Rockford, Jeffery Lee Lloyd of Rexburg, and Patricia Mildon of Blackfoot; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; also preceded by her brother Lenis Godfrey, daughter in law Dorinda Lloyd and granddaughter Mellany McBride. Memorial service held Thursday, April 22nd at Hawker Funeral Home.
