- Hannah Town Of Moscow Dies -
Moscow -- Mrs. Hannah Town, 70, a longtime Moscow resident, died Friday about 5:25 p.m. at the Latah County Convalescent Home.
Mrs. Town lived at Moscow between 1906 and 1949. In 1949 she moved to Portland, Ore., where she stayed until 1951. She moved to Albany, Ore. She returned to Moscow in 1961 and resided here until 1966 when she moved to Seattle. She lived at Brookings, Ore, from 1970 until last September when she returned to Moscow.
She was born Sept. 15, 1893, at Cottonwood, Minn., the daughter of Austin and Olene Ronholt, She married Sherman F. Town in Nov. of 1913 at Moscow. Town, a Moscow farmer, died May 20, 1953.
Mrs. Town was a member of the Moscow Emanuel Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid of the Lutheran Church and the Mountain View Club.
Her survivors include a son, Duane Town, Vale, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Davis, Uniontown, Mrs. Lee Morse, Brookings, Ore. and Mrs. Marvin Tucker, Seattle; four brothers, John Ronholt, Paul Ronholt and Luther Ronholt, all of Mount Vernon, Wash, and Otto Ronholt, Auburn, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Esther Lassen, and Mrs. Ida Downing, both of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Thelma Mugaas, Yakima, and Mrs. Judith Tillman, Auburn; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Short's Funeral Chapel, Moscow. The Rev. Martin Larsen of the Moscow Emanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be at the Moscow City Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Idaho Youth Ranch.
