Mr. Alfred William Hatcher, Sr., 80, of Leesburg, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mitchell County. Joseph W. Jones will officiate.
Born September 7, 1940, in Camilla, GA, Mr. Hatcher was the son of the late C.L. and Sallie Mae McKibben Hatcher. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, BlonDale Guined Hatcher who passed away on January 1, 2018.
Survivors include his two children, William Hatcher, Jr. of Leesburg and Nancy Hollingsworth of Fernandina Beach, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery.
