Obituary for Angela Lee Jones
Angela Lee (Shattuck) Jones, 50, of Martinsville, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in the comfort of her home, while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Indianapolis, on January 26, 1970, to the late Edward and Diane (Bradburn) Shattuck.

After attending Martinsville High School and not being one to settle, Angela worked for various companies throughout the years, including Ray's Recycling, Pet Smart, and Linel. Most recently, she was a member of the Harvest House International Church.

Artistic by nature, Angela found happiness in her gardens. A clever crafter, she could turn any ordinary everyday object into a fine piece of artwork. Snappy, outgoing, and strong willed, Angela was a force to be reckoned with, never giving up on the things in life she held dear. She loved her friends and family deeply and will be missed by all.

Along with her parents, Angela was preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, Jeff Jones.

Angela leaves behind her partner of four years, Gary Gerking of Martinsville; beloved children, Kilee Rose Jones and Caden Earl Jones, both of Martinsville; siblings, Tracy Demaree and Jesse Asche, both of Martinsville; grandchildren, Dixie, Gracie and Jeorge; nieces and nephews, Breezy, Bailie, Lucus, Kiann, Kilee, Xavier and Jasper; and her cherished fur babies, Fluffy, Little Girl and Poncho.

Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, October 16, 2020, from 2 to 4pm at Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. A Celebration of Life Service will begin promptly at 4pm, and Pastor Jimmy Parson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses. The current COVID-19 Statewide Mandate stipulates that all attendees are required to provide their own masks and wear facial coverings throughout the duration of services. Please be mindful of social distancing and avoid all personal contact to slow the spreading of the virus. Funeral & Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel, Monrovia.
