Jackie Williams, age 66, of Clayton, MI, passed away, April 14, 2021. She was born October 29, 1954, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Franklin & Beverly (Kramer) Thornton. Jackie was a graduate of Adrian High School and attended Jackson Community College where she obtained her LPN license. She then worked for many years at Lenawee Medical Care Facility and then worked for Maria Healthcare, where she retired from. Jackie enjoyed fishing, traveling, spending time with her family and taking care of her dog Buttins. Jackie is survived by her husband, Rick Williams; her two sons, Robert Williams and Brent (Nancy) Williams; grandson, Hunter Williams; her father, Franklin Thornton, brother, Mike Thornton; two nephews, Matt and Dan; and one niece, Crystal; and brother in law, Dan Hamann. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly; one daughter, Jennifer; and sister, Sherry Hamman. Viewing & Visitation will be on Sunday, April 18, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 19, 2021 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Earl Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
