Timothy Harold Baker, 67, of Chandler, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 17th, 2021 at Ascension Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tim was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 13, 1953 to Harold and Doris (Livergood) Baker.

He attended Bosse High School and went on to study Theology at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. Telling people about Jesus Christ was especially important to Tim, who was an ordained minister, and he was able to share his love of God with others through the Living Joy Ministry and the Hemophilia & Thrombosis Awareness Foundation, both of which he founded. Tim was also an avid drag racer and over the years could be found every Saturday at the drag strip either racing his '67 Mustang or enjoying watching his friends' race their cars down the track. Tim was a lifetime member of Racer's for Christ.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Livergood-Baker, his brother and best friend, Ronald E. Baker and his nephews, Jason Baker and Johnathon Baker.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Harold and Phyllis Baker of Chandler; his wife, and the love of his life, Kathy Baker of Chandler; stepdaughter, Rachael Ferree of Evansville; grandson, Blaine Huff of Evansville; siblings, John (Gina) Baker of Evansville; Karen Nordhaus of Chandler; Danielle (Shawn) Russell of Boonville; and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be 3 P.M. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 with Pastor Eddie Carroll officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 3 P.M. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the funeral home. Published in Courier Press from Apr. 19, to Apr. 20, 2021.
