Maxine McCready Wells, 86, of Spring Hill, Florida, died January 8, 2012. A longtime Eastwood resident, she retired from the Department of Defense Quality Assurance Division. Maxine was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Wells, in 1977; her parents, Lois S. and Halton V. McCready of Houlton, Maine; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her sister, Doris Moran, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service, including Eastern Star ceremony, will take place Saturday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at Eastwood Baptist Church, 3212 James Street, Syracuse, NY.
Family will greet her friends prior to the service. Burial will be in White Lake Cemetery at the family's convenience.
Contributions may be made to any chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in Max's memory.
