Russell Bradley Cooper of Alabaster, Alabama, passed away April 17, 2021

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Timmy Sullens will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Bradley was born December 20, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia.

He grew up in Cleveland and Gainesville, Georgia spending lots of his youth with his beloved grandparents Roy Ray (Bud) and Maude Cathey in Sautee Nacoochee Valley.

He and was a proud veteran of the United States Army, retiring after 21 years of service.

He worked in collections most of his career and spent 28 years with Jim Walter Mortgage, as Regional Collections Manager based in Houston, Texas and Birmingham, Alabama.

In his retirement, he was the co-owner of Suwanee Wood Products in Suwanee, Georgia. He enjoyed antique cars and car shows, spending time outdoors, hunting and watching westerns.

Bradley is preceded in death by his parents, Burnette Cathey Cooper Turner and Carlton Turner.

Bradley is survived by his devoted wife Brenda Cooper of Alabaster, Alabama, his sons Brandon Cooper of Conroe, Texas, Rodney (Sandy) Cooper, granddaughter Kaytelen of Alabaster, Alabama, Rustin (Paige) Cooper, grandchildren Braelyn and Brexton of Helena, Alabama; his brother, Carl (Beth) Turner and nephews Cole and Will of Douglasville, Georgia and sister, Cathey Turner of Atlanta, Georgia, as well as numerous Graham relatives in love of his wife's family.
