Danville – Anna Mae Harper, 92, of Danville, IL passed away at 2:15 AM on April 18, 2021 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL.

Anna was born on January 30, 1929 the daughter of Charles A and Lenora (Hartman) Crispin in Rardin, IL. She married Donald Richard Harper on February 23, 1951 in Oakwood, IL and he preceded her in death on June 21, 2001.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Gloria) Harper of Monahans, TX, Robert (Shirley) Harper of Danville, IL, three daughters, Margaret (Mike) Padgett of Indianapolis, IN, Sandra (Mark) Knutson of Excelsior Springs, MO and Pamela (Mike) Van Leer of Danville, IL, as well as 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald, two sons, Norman, and Phillip, one brother, Charlie Elmer Crispin, two sisters, Marjory Dutton and Evelyn Kienast as well as two great grandchildren.

Anna loved to work in her garden and enjoyed canning, playing cards; especially Euchre, but most of all, Anna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834. Ken Cameron will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or services wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made to the Danville Alliance Church.
