Joel William Gray Sr., 45, passed away on April 15th, 2021.
He was born on April 1st, 1975 to his parents Michael Gray Sr. of Boyne Falls and his mother Linda Sheppard of Petoskey. He spent his winters cutting deer at the Walloon Village General Store and his summers painting. Joel enjoyed listening to music especially David Allen Coe. He loved to go fishing, enjoy nature and spend time with his grandchildren.
He was survived by his father Michael Sr (Mary) Gray, the women he called mom Linda (Calvin) Penfold. His children Maciah Gray (Zachariah Palmer) Joel Gray Jr (Kayla Rose). Grandchildren Zyle Brown, John Palmer, Waylon Palmer, Kaidyn Truman, Kynnslee Truman. His siblings Michael Jr (Jayne) Gray, Shaun (Amanda) Gray, Brent (Melissa) Gray, Joshua (Stacia) Gray, Cody (Eva) Gray, Ariel Gray and many nieces and nephews.
Joel was proceeded in death by his mother Linda Sheppard his grandparents Lyle and Margaret Gray, uncles John Gray and Doug Gray and his aunt Karen Kline.
The family will be hosting a memorial service on May 22nd 2021 at 1:00 pm down at the Walloon Lake Village Pavilion.
