Homesteader Of State Dies
Jesse Earl Lamm died last Monday in Albany, Oregon, Mr. Lamm was born in Alton, Kan., on Sept. 20, 1881. In 1904, he homesteaded near Ramah, Colo. Sadie Edna Mount became his wife in 1905, and they made their home near Ramah. Mr. Lamm was one of the first dealers in John Deere implements in that area. Living members of his family are four children: Miss Barbara Lamm, Mart D. Lamm, and Mrs. Beryl Netherland of Colorado Springs; and Mrs. Lois Cooney, Oakland, Calif., five brothers; Carl Lamm, Colorado Springs, Elmer Lamm, Brownsville, Oregon; Guy Lamm, Matheson, Colo.; J. D. Lamm, Ramah, Col.; and Orville Lamm, Pasadena, Calif.; a sister Miss Jane Lamm, Simla, Colo., and four grandchildren. Memorial services are to be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ramah Evangelical Church. Interment will be in the Ramah cemetery. Arrangements are by Swan Funeral Home.
