Our son, brother, uncle, nephew, coach, friend and president passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Christopher Roman Perry was born on January 9, 1971 to Rodney and Sandra Kay Perry in Huntington, West Virginia. He graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1989 and went into the army where he served during Operation Desert Storm. Chris coached and mentored hundreds of our Chesapeake youth and he loved each and every one. Whether you wore a football helmet, basketball jersey or a cheerleading uniform, if you wore purple Chris was your number one fan. Chris will be laid to rest next to his mother and I am sure we will hear them both cheering for the Peake from the sidelines. Chris had the biggest heart. He loved and cherished all his family and friends. He adored his little sidekick, Michael, to no end and we all loved him back. He will surely be missed. Until we meet again brother.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Kay Perry. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Rodney Perry; sister, Stephanie Banks and husband, Charles Banks; brother, Jeremy Perry; beloved nieces and nephews, Katelyn Browning, Jake Browning and Aaron Sexton; great neices and nephews, Paisley Browning, Zailey Kay Browning, Acelyn Kuhn and Owen Browning; very special little boy who called him "Daddy Perry", Michael Andrew Edwards.
