James William "Bill" Brown
April 21, 1929 - April 15, 2021

James William "Bill" Brown, 91 of Cobden, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
He was born on April 21, 1929 in Decatur, IL the son of Charles and Alice (Jenkins) Brown.
He married Nina.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Brown; two sons, Charley (Beverly) and Robert (Lisa); a daughter-in-law, Linda; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael James Brown.

Bill was a professional tinkerer. He loved gardening and living in the country.

Funeral services for Bill Brown will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carbondale.
Interment will follow in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday, April 26 at the church.
Everyone attending will be required to wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines.
