The funeral service for Lena was held on April 24, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Pastor James Pauley officiated.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 904 Chipola Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
