Mr. Dennis James Little, age 57, of Lindale, GA, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, in a local hospital.

Mr. Little was born in Rome, GA on December 30, 1963, son of the late Dennis and Betty Phillips Little. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Genie Salter, Vicky Little, and Wanda Little, and by a brother, Tony Little. Mr. Little was a 1983 graduate of East Rome High School and attended Floyd College. He spent many years in law enforcement as an officer with the Rome Police Department, the Summerville Police Department, and the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as Code Enforcement Officer with Bartow County for several years. Mr. Little was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lynn Smith, to whom he was married on July 26, 1990; a daughter, Felisha Carter (Caleb), Lindale; 3 grandchildren, Caleb Carter, Jr., Kaylynn Carter, and Ruby Carter; 2 sisters, Suzy Day, Rome, and Kathy Roach, Ava, MO; 3 brothers, David, Wayne, and Gerald Little, all of Rome; nieces and nephew.

A memorial service will be held at the graveside in East View Cemetery later.
