Born and raised on the family farm on Pansy Road, daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Miro Grella, Theresa was a lifelong Fairfield Town resident.
During the WWII war years, Theresa worked for the Remington Arms Company as a munitions inspector. She later went on to raise her family and enjoy caring for her home.
Theresa will be fondly remembered as a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her son and caregiver, George Morris; her daughter, LouAnn Riccio, and her husband, Pasquale, of Trumbull; grandsons, Matthew Riccio and his wife, Elizabeth, and Anthony Riccio and his wife, Katherine; great-grandsons, Matteo Spiro Riccio and Leonardo Riccio; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward Grella, Alfred (Babe) Grella, Joseph Grella, Ralph (Sonny) Grella, and Albert Grella; and a sister, Louise Palochik.
Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
