Scott was born September 26, 1960 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Don and Arlene (Hull) Simmons.
Scott was employed as a stock person at Walmart for several years. He was formerly a member of the Eagles Club.
Survivors include his sisters, Donette (Monte Locey) Simmons-Valley and Brenda Simmons-Seidell both of Clinton and nephews, James Valley, Marcus Allen Hook and Tyler (Emily) Hook.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Terry.
