Bobby Ray Fowler, age 87, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Frostproof, Florida. He was born June 27, 1933 in Graceville Florida. He was preceded in death by his father Stephen Ollie Fowler, mother Leona Everett Fowler, his brother Wilmar Fowler, and sister Peggy Geissler. Bobby is survived by his wife of 65 years Retha (Davis) Fowler, daughters: Cathy Burchard (Paul), and Toni Gibson (Ben), and son Doug Fowler, granddaughters: Amy Paul (James) and Danna Cochran (James), six great-grandchildren: Taylor, Hannah, Jadan, Davis, Easton, and Samuel.

Bobby is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Military Police during the Korean War. He attended Troy State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in education. Mr. Fowler was a beloved teacher, coach, athletic director, and Immokalee Indian for 34 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof.

Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He will be remembered for his easy way, his big smile, his unwavering integrity, but especially for his love of his wife, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, April 19, 2021 with funeral services at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery following services.
