He was born May 6, 1934 in Marion, the son of Clarence Sr. and Zella (Gertman) Walker. On July 12, 2008 he married Janet Altemus at Aroma Park American Legion.
Clarence enjoyed hanging out at the Aroma Park Legion, shooting, tinkering with lawn mowers, hunting, fishing, and going to auctions.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Walker; son, Bob (Kathy) Walker of Bourbonnais; grandchildren, Sommer and Jackie Walker of Bourbonnais; stepchildren, Tanya (Marc) Fordahl of Momence, Julie (Jerry) Davin of Iowa, James (Katie) Cullum of Batavia; 7 step grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren.
Clarence is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Walker and his stepson, Jason Cullum.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Aroma Park American Legion at 2pm.
Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
