He was well-known in the Chattanooga area as a bail bondsman with Chattanooga-Card Bonding Co. He also owned Cordell Towing Co.
He is survived by his parents, Juanita and Richard Cordell, Deborah Cordell; son, Jason Cordell; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime and Micah Breedlove; grandsons, Tristan, Tyler, Beau, and Bryson Cordell; sister, Joy Muir; brothers, Tom and Jim Cordell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
