Timothy Cope Ray, Sr, 75, passed away April 14, 2021 at his residence in Barnwell, SC.
Tim was born in Barnwell, SC on June 6, 1945 to the late James E. and Mary Cope Ray. He served in the US Marine Corp during Vietnam. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 3:00PM in Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Jeffery Ray and Rev. Farrell Ray officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors by the US Marine Corp. The family will receive friends following the services. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell is assisting the family.
Tim is survived by his son, Timothy (Cynthia) Ray, Jr. of Barnwell, daughters, Debbie (Ron) Benson of Baldwin, MI, and Tracey (B.J.) Baxley of Barnwell; brothers: Albert (Patsy) Ray, James Ray, Farrell (Barbara) Ray, Wayne (Donna) Ray, Graham (Rita) Ray, and Tony Ray; grandchildren: Andrew (Jenna) Ray, Benjamin (Summer) Ray, Christopher Ray, Josie Ray and Alexandra Bolen, and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Sandra D. Ray, a brother Murrell Ray, and a sister, Anna Sue Cavolo.
