Mark Darrel Lane, 63 of Danville, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30-10:30am on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Kruger Coan Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Services will follow at 10:30am at the funeral home, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Following services, Mark will be laid to rest beside the love of his life, his wife Kim.

Mark was born on July 25, 1957 in Danville to Donald and Clara (Quick) Lane. He attended Danville schools, graduating from DHS, and entered the work force as a mechanic. He enjoyed working with his hands and with automobiles. He could also be found riding motorcycles in his younger years.

Mark leaves behind his mother Clara; four children: Aaron (Brittani) Lane, Megan Rich, Jonathan Lane, and Matthew Lane; and fourteen grandchildren.
