Mr. Clarence Willis "Chubby" White, age 72, of Rome, GA, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021, at a local hospital.

Mr. White was born in Rome, GA on October 23, 1948, the son of the late Clarence Lee White and the late Bertie Ruth Wilson White. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver, logger, and diesel mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeffrey Jordan.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jane White; his daughter, Mary Lou White of Rome; his stepdaughter, Stacey Leintz (Danny) of Grand Junction, CO; his stepson, Jamie Couey (Vickie) of Cedar Bluff, AL; his grandchildren, Robert Jordan (Mary) and Johnny Ray Thomason, all of Rome, and Amber, Dylan and William Leintz, all of Grand Junction, CO; his great grandsons, Donovahn, Aidyn, and Tristan Jordan of Rome, Tailor Jordan of Resaca, and Landon Ray Thomason of Rome; his sisters, June Ann Fuller (Pete) of Panama City, FL and Ruby Faye White of Rockmart, GA; his brothers, Larry Joe Wilson (Martha) of Monticello, GA, John Holt Brown of Rockmart, GA, and Lewis Ray Brown (Janice) of Rockmart, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the American Legion Post #5 Honor Guard presenting military honors.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 10:30am and include: Jamie Couey, Troy Mullins, Jason Fuller, Vick Lee, Scott Atchison and Lewis Brown.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.
