Carolyn Sue Stevens, age 70 of Kent, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at her home. She was born June 14, 1950, in Carbon Dale, West Virginia, to parents Francis Eugene and Glenna Macil (Sayre) Stevens. Carolyn was affectionately known as Sue to her family and close friends.
She was a Christian and member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Sue enjoyed going on casino trips and playing bingo, but most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Sue is survived by her daughters: Terri Lynn Maxwell and Carolyn "Candy" (Richard) Belk, her grandchildren: Cory Maxwell, Cortnie Maxwell, Maddie Maxwell, Travis Weaver, Savanah Weaver, Tyler Belk, as well as her great-grandchildren: Marcus, Mia, Matthew, Antonio, Amora, and Maria. Sue is also survived by her siblings: Roger (Debbie) Stevens, Linda (Griff) Sweet, Bill (Kaye) Stevens, Tony Stevens, Craig Stevens, Betty Minor, Jerry Knopf, and Annette (John) Olson, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her infant daughter Tammy Louk, her sister Denise Brier, and her brother Robert Stevens.
Her wishes for cremation are being honored and friends and family are invited to join in a Celebration of Sue's Life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 812 Cleveland Rd, Ravenna, OH 44266.
