Leslie B Williams passed away peacefully at the age of 94 surrounded by family on April 12th, 2021. He was born on December 8, 1926 in Scott County, Kentucky the son of Luther and Della Hall Williams.

We lost our rock and he will be greatly missed. Leslie was a graduate of the Kentucky School for the Blind where he met the love of his life, Lucy Moore. She gave up Moore for Les. They were married for 64 years until she passed away in 2015. Now, they are together again forever. His greatest passions were listening to music, playing the piano, reading, and solving cryptographic and jumble word puzzles (in his head!). Leslie worked for many years operating a vending stand which required getting up very early each morning and working long hours. He was a fiercely independent man and anyone who knew him was impressed by his ability to solve problems on his own.

Leslie is preceded in death by his sisters Catherine, Mildred, and Louie and his brother Luther, Jr.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Mike (Judy), Ron (Christel), and Rick and grandsons (Ryan and Austin) and great-grandchildren (Alex, Mason, and Allison).

A service to celebrate Leslie's life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 24, 2021. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Friday, April 23 at the funeral home.
