Entertainer. Born Victoria Rosaline Sarah Vokes in London, the youngest of four siblings. The quartet, Fred, Jessie, Rosina, and Victoria formed a family of players and became popular music hall entertainers of the age. They were considered highly comical and excelled at pantomime including such pieces as "The Belles of the Kitchen," "Cousin Joe," "Fun in a Fog," and "No.1 Around the Corner." They were later joined by Walter Fawdon who took the stage name Vokes, and became popular on both sides of the Atlantic.
