James H. Clemons, 84, of Crawford passed away in McGregor.

Graveside services will be held in Crawford Cemetery on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Jerry Walters officiating.

Mr. Clemons was born in Osage, Texas to Clarence and Loraine Smith Clemons. He married Judy Abel on September 12, 1958, in Crawford.

Mr. Clemons loved to camp, fish, and hunt; going to Colorado and New Mexico to get the big ones but his true love was his family, especially his grandchildren. He went to all of their sporting events.

Mr. Clemons served his country in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years of service with Lehigh Cement Company. He was a member of Craword Masonic Lodge #585 and the First Baptist Church in Crawford.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife; Judy Clemons, daughter; Susan Snowden, son; Randy Clemons; a grandson; Chad Snowden, granddaughter; Caroline Clemons, great-granddaughters; Emma and Mia Snowden, sister-in-law; Janie Abel and nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family would like to thank Lewis Snow for being a great neighbor.
