Joseph Francis Clements, 86 years of age, entered the gates of Heaven on April 15, 2021 at 4:10AM.

Services will be Monday April 19th at 11AM at Dawson Street Baptist Church. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Joseph was the son of the late James "Jimmy" Clements, and the late Effie Miller Clements.

Born and raised in Thomasville, Ga. Joseph was a 1955 Thomasville High School graduate.

He loved the sport Basketball so much, that he was the boys Basketball team manager. After high school, Joseph did a variety of occupations ranging from being a Grocery Store Owner on Smith Avenue in Thomasville, Ga to selling Life Insurance in Mississippi. Joseph came from a big family. He had 3 older brothers, Hubert, Fred, and Curtis and numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph loves his family dearly. He looked forward to holidays when everyone would come to the house and enjoy one anothers company.

Another love of Joseph was his church, Dawson Street Baptist. He was a Deacon, and a devoted church member.

Joseph is preceded in death by his loving wife of 13 years, Alma Jones Clements.

Survivors are step son John Mark Jones (Stacey), step daughter Susan Jones Harnevious (Duane), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and bother in-law Norman Renfroe (LeGrande).

A visitation will be held Sunday April 18th from 2-4PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to visit his online tribute at www.alllenfh.com.
